Welcome to the Weekend
I am so excited to start the ball rolling on what hopefully will become an annual celebration of the "best year of our lives"!! The planning has commenced on the Star Wars Rival Run weekend at DisneyWorld next April. I have 9 'yes's thus far, but have made room reservations for 12. If anyone wants to RSVP now, let me know. Always easier to turn off reservations than to turn them on at the last minute. I will need a final count around 1 Mar, as the rooms require a 30-day cancellation notice.
While the GOAL is to run the half-marathon, my personal recommendation is to suggest the 5K run and the half-marathon, leaving the in-between day for the full Disney experience! And for those of us (me) who know they can't meet the pace monster for the half, no matter what, there is an official ChEAR experience on the run website!
I'll send emails as I update this page, but wanted to create this to allow easy access to links, etc. On the Schedule of Events page, you'll see a FB comments link. If I did this right, that should put comments on the FB "events" page I set up. If not, well, who knows!
But, before anything else, be sure and vote on your favorite obnoxious "T" below and I'll get those going. The voting button will send you to the Schedule of Events page where you can complete your Trip Info form. I'm asking for a deposit just to help defray some of the upfront costs.
